About Us
Dr. Lynn McIntosh Dr. Lynn McIntosh is the founder and owner of Kansas City Chiropractic.Her interest in chiropractic care started at home. She saw first-hand how her family benefited from non-invasive treatments.

During her undergraduate studies, Dr. McIntosh continued to be amazed at how the body compensates for damage and injury. The more she learned, the more committed she became to supporting the body’s natural efforts.

Dr. McIntosh is board-certified and licensed in Kansas and Missouri. She holds a bachelor of science degree in human biology and a doctorate of chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College.

In addition, Dr. McIntosh is 1 of only 3,500 certified chiropractic sports physicians in the U.S. She’s also board-certified in acupuncture.

In the Kansas City community, Dr. McIntosh volunteers with DIFFA, Win for KC, and PEO. She’s also active with the Vera McIntosh Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

Dr. Courtney Baalman serves as clinic director at Kansas City Chiropractic.

She became interested in chiropractic care while pursuing a pharmacy degree at the University of Kansas. While in school, Dr. Baalman worked at a chiropractic office. There, she saw the benefits of chiropractic care. She knew immediately that she wanted to pursue a more natural approach to health and wellness.

Dr. Baalman earned a bachelor of science in human biology and a doctorate of chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College. She has also received her Advanced Certification in Whiplash Biomechanics & Injury Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego.

Dr. Yara Jouhari is passionate about promoting wellness through chiropractic care.

At Kansas City Chiropractic, Dr. Jouhari empowers patients to manage their overall wellness. She helps people live happy, healthy lives – without undue prescription medications or invasive procedures.

Dr. Jouhari holds a bachelor’s degree in human biology and a doctorate of chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College. She’s currently pursuing acupuncture certification from the Missouri State Chiropractors Association. She is also studying with the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association.

Dr. Jouhari specializes in the Webster Technique. This method balances the biomechanics of the pelvis, and is often used in breech pregnancies.
